Building Templatiz – An LLM-Powered Content OS
Problem
Most content creators struggle with consistency, not creativity. They know what works on LinkedIn or Twitter—but recreating that success every day takes time they don't have. Tools existed for scheduling, but none helped identify what should be posted, or when.
I saw this firsthand across communities of creators and startup founders. Viral posts were being saved in screenshots or Notion docs—but never reused. Content was being treated as disposable instead of strategic. There was no system for compounding what already worked.
Approach
User Research & Validation
I ran interviews with 20+ content creators, marketers, and solo operators to map their workflows. The biggest bottlenecks were:
- Remembering which posts performed well
- Deciding what to post next
- Staying consistent without burnout
MVP Development
I scoped, built, and shipped the first version of Templatiz as a solo founder:
- Chrome extension for capturing viral posts
- Scoring engine that evaluates historical engagement and timing
- Auto-reposting logic and scheduling flow
- YOLO Mode (one-click auto-post based on your top-performing templates)
- Beta-ready dashboard with user streaks and content milestones
GTM & Growth
I launched the beta waitlist using paid LinkedIn ads and cold DMs—focused on creators and AI-first operators. Messaging tested around "build once, compound forever" resonated best.
Outcome
- 2,500+ waitlist signups in <60 days
- 200 active beta testers during closed access
- +18% MoM retention during onboarding redesign period
- Q3 2025 launch scheduled, with gamified engagement engine in place
Why It Matters
Templatiz isn't a social media tool. It's a content operating system. It helps creators stop reinventing the wheel—and start building repeatable growth from what already worked. Every feature was shaped by real user workflows, every decision tied to a clear content ROI.
